Trying new soft drinks...

The kids are on the look-out to try new soft drinks...this one had a cherry "after-taste"...and the drink of choice still seems to be Orangina.

You can order a "Chi Chi" here...

We don't know what a Chi Chi is...but our Chi Chi agreed to pose
with the food she was named after...

We love Nyon...

You can get sandwiches with chicken & fries in the baguette...

You can play in the tunnels...

Drinking water is plentiful...

Another amazing town, just around the bend...

This is Brantes, not far from where we live...we don't have to drive far to find a hidden gem!

On our next sabbatical, we could live in Sault...

...now if we could just figure out how to pronounce it!

Exploring at the Gorge...

Mr. Science explaining something...probably talking about hockey...

Always looking to go in caves and explore...

Liam wanted me to explain to you that he was NOT looking at Chelsea's butt...it's just a bad camera angle. Really.

Peek-a-Boo!

Not really enjoying the Gorge Drive...

Hair-pin turns, no guardrails, impending death at every corner...took it's toll on the backseat passengers. (it was SPECTACULAR!)

The Kids thought this was funny...

But I don't get it...

Virtual Houlahan Family Dinner

...via Skype...just like being there, except we don't get fed! :-(

The toilets of Europe...

This one, in the port of Bandol (French Riviera), automatically spray washes the entire stall in between patrons. Chelsea was afraid she'd get stuck in there when the cleaning began!

Chelsea showing her disapproval of this one...

I don't think so...

Most public toilets have co-ed wash basins...where there is usually a good view of the urinals...

So far, the BEST public toilet in Europe: Parking Garage in Monte Carlo
WORST public toilet in Europe: ALL the rest!!

And it is all about Bison Burgers, fur raccoon tail hats, and the mention of Buffalo...of course, Liam wanted to eat here. We put our foot down. We told him he could have bison burgers and wear his fur hat when he got back home to his igloo.

Marseilles madness...

The city isn't mad...the kids are mad at each other...

Random morning market shot...

Holding my camera at my side, I'm starting to take some random shots...don't worry, I'll only show you the shots that I like! :-)

The Great Candy Rip-Off...

Outdoor candy seller + Dumb Tourist with 20 Euro bill = Highest Candy Prices in Europe

You go that way, I'll go this way...

Getting to the bottom of the homework assignment...

The Tossing of the Keys Ceremony...

No longer needed, the keys to our Sandy Hill apartment were given a fine send-off as they were launched into the Mediterranean Sea...farewell to an awesome home-away-from-home!

Any ledge will do...

...when you just gotta get off your feet!

Siesta in Marseilles...

"People watching" on the boardwalk was our mission...snoozing was included.

Making an important cheese decision

Who knew it would take the better part of a morning to try all the different types of cheese and, eventually, buy some...

Love is all around

Captured at the market in Orange...

A little paint rubs off, and provides hours of amusement...

My PowerShot camera strap has had some wear & tear...

A chance to smell many different scents...

That one didn't smell good - I think it was truffles (not the chocolate kind...)
